Translations- Cooking Oil Dropoff
Translations for dropoff instructions can be found at https://uqr.to/OilTranslation
Cooking Oil
Cooking oil and grease from food can build up in pipes and lead to sewage backups. To prevent this from happening, NEVER pour oil and grease down the drain. Instead, find a nearby cooking oil dropoff or use your curbside pickups.
Cooking Oil Dropoff
Used cooking oil can now be dropped off at the collection site at French Lake Dog Park! Bring your used cooking oil and put in the black collection container. Jugs coated in oil should be thrown away or taken back home and reused. This location is for cooking oil only. Map to French Lake Dog Park: https://maps.app.goo.gl/htKm84bhKBUN5Fj6A
Curbside Pickup
Residential WM customers in Federal Way can set out used cooking and motor oil at the curb on recycling day for free pick-up. Limit of 3 gallons per pickup and 10 gallons per year. Learn more at wmnorthwest.com/federalway.
Motor Oil
Motor oil can be picked up with curbside recycling. Do not mix oil with other products like gasoline, antifreeze, or solvents. Many automotive sites will take back motor oil for recycling. Visit kingcountyhazwastewa.gov for more disposal locations.
