Volunteers are vital to our City and to our community. They help the City deliver vital services and projects to residents, help make our schools successful, provide essential human services, and keep our community green.
Mayor Ferrell and the City Council encourage citizens to volunteer and help keep Federal Way a great place to work, live, and play. The Volunteer Opportunities List is updated quarterly and is intended to help residents find volunteer opportunities at City Hall and throughout the Federal Way community.
The City of Federal Way greatly values its volunteers. At the first City Council meeting of each month, the City Council takes time at the beginning of the meeting to recognize volunteers and hear presentations about volunteer programs making a difference in Federal Way. If you know a volunteer or volunteer organization you'd like to nominate for this program, contact the Mayor's Office.
