REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

PURPOSE OF REQUEST.

The City of Federal Way (“City”) is requesting proposals for the purpose of securing a contractor to demolish the existing pool slide and interactive play structures at the Federal Way Community Center and replace and install new features that will fit within the existing footprint and meet local health department guidelines. The City’s needs are outlined in the following Request for Proposal (“RFP”).

TIME SCHEDULE.

The City will follow the following timetable, which should result in a selection of a firm by February 1, 2019.

Issue RFP                                                                    January 4, 2019

Deadline for Submittal of Proposals                           January 25, 2019

Preliminary Selection of Firm                                     January 31, 2019

Notify Firm Chosen                                                    February 4, 2019

All proposals must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner: “RFP” Pool Slide and play structure.

All proposals must be received by January 25, 2019 at which time they will be opened. No faxed or telephone proposals will be accepted.
