I.       PURPOSE OF REQUEST.

The City of Federal Way ("City") is requesting Request for Proposals (RFP) for Comprehensive Solid Waste Collection Services.

II.       PROCESS SCHEDULE.

The City will follow the following timetable, which should result in a selection of a contractor by July, 2019.

III.      INSTRUCTIONS TO PROPOSERS.

B.      All proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m., April 15, 2019.  Proposals must be delivered to City of Federal Way, Attn: Finance Department – Renee Cameron, 33325 8th Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003-6325.  Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed package, clearly marked "RFP ‑ COMPREHENSIVE SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES" so as to indicate, without being opened, the name and address of the Proponent. City staff will stamp the date and time of receipt on the sealed package. Proposals must be accompanied by the Proposal Security Bond and all other required documents as further described in Section 2.15.3 of the RFP.

C.      The RFP consists of nine documents, available for download via: cityoffederalway.com/bids by selecting β€œComprehensive Solid Waste Collection Services.”
