City Offers “Warming Shelter” due to inclement weather conditions

The City of Federal Way is offering citizens a place to find relief from extremely cold weather. The Federal Way Community Center, located at 876 S. 333rd Street, will be available as a respite from extremely cold temperatures and will remain available as necessary until the low temperature situation has eased.

During the forecasted period of weather, the Community Center will be open to citizens of all ages who need a warm and dry place to visit. Week-day hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. Weekend hours of operation are Saturdays 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. *Hours may vary due to weather/driving conditions.
